The Redskins made a huge move this morning by firing Jay Gruden who is in his 6th season as Head Coach. They are also promoting Assistant Head Coach/OL Coach Bill Callahan to interim Head Coach. There are likely other moves to be made, like firing Defensive Coordinator Greg Manusky.
The move that everyone wants to see happen isn’t going to become reality anytime soon though. Bruce Allen and Dan Snyder fled FedEx Field yesterday afternoon with the quickness after the Redskins were blown out again. This was not a typical move for the drinking buddies, and it was obvious they were planning Jay Gruden’s execution. Bruce Allen will hold a press conference for the first time in 4 1/2 years at 1pm today. He’s safe, and Dan Snyder is still the worst owner in professional sports.
#FireBruceAllen
That would be a hint Bruce isn't going anywhere.

Talked to source who said Washington’s front office is a mess and bears responsibility for results. Also said that if it was Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen who fired Gruden, that Allen is probably safe. Ended by saying, “Bruce has done it before. He’s done it in Oakland and Tampa.”
