NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Redskins got blown out again last week, losing 24-3 to the Giants in New Jersey. This has been a trend this season and there is no reason to believe that will stop today when the Patriots come to town. Their defense has only allowed one touchdown all season. The Redskins defense is allowing at least 3 every week. That math is not hard.

The Redskins continue to deal with injuries this week. Vernon Davis joins Jordan Reed in the concussion protocol and the inactive list. Brandon Scherff has been dealing with an ankle injury since the Bears game, and he will miss his second straight game. Tony Bergstrom will start at center again if Chase Roullier can’t play, and Wes Martin could get his second career start at right guard. Terry McLaurin had a minor hamstring pull last Thursday. He’s listed as questionable, and will be a game-time decision.
