Physical update:
If the Redskins can’t find a helmet that doesn’t give Trent Williams pain by the time his roster exemption expires, the options are: He plays in pain or the team puts him on NFI (which means they can choose to pay him or not). Either way, his contract won’t toll. https://t.co/RBdtLdrZzC

Bill Callahan spoke to reporters today, and answered questions about...Trent Williams. He says he spoke with Williams today, and he is hopeful that he will be back on the field for them. He also said that Trent did not pass his physical which is why he didn’t practice today. Williams had discomfort when putting helmets on. This doesn’t line up with earlier reports that stated Williams had indeed passed his physical this morning.
