Trent Williams is back with the Redskins. The team has officially acknowledged that he has reported. The team has requested a 2 week roster exemption which gives them time to figure out their next move. Washington also announced that OLB Cassanova McKinzy was placed on IR from the practice squad and DE Carroll Phillips has been signed.

Trent Williams can begin practicing and the team could add him to the roster before the 2 weeks is up. Would need a corresponding roster move though. It’s even believed Trent will address the media today.

It has been reported that even though Williams reported to the team, he has no intentions of playing for them. Williams needed to report before Week 10 to get credit for this year. The dance now begins between Williams and the Redskins.
He is not at practice today, even though he is eligible to begin practice. Williams passed his physical so he is healthy enough to play.
Trent Williams is not on the practice field as the Redskins go through their stretching.
