You don’t have to look very far in the NFL to find a more defeated man than Jay Gruden. Four weeks into the season the Redskins are 0-4 and he’s being asked more questions than he has answers to–with no help from the people actually in charge.
In his latest installment of defeat, Gruden claimed to have no real plan for the quarterback position this week. That’s
a) not a great thing for your head coach to think.
b) not a great thing for your head coach to say.
c) not a great thing to hear from your head coach.
On this episode of the Pig Pen Pocast, I dive into how the quarterback situation will be handled this week, and how it should be handled this week. These two things are not the same.
There was also a very interesting list of odds on who could replace Gruden once he is finally gone. The list isn’t pretty, but there’s a least one good option on there.
