The Redskins have lost another position coach on defense. Defensive Backs Coach Torrian Gray is returning to the University of Florida. It was reported two weeks ago that the Redskins were going to move on from Gray, but nothing was official. Wahington interviewed former Denver Broncos Defensive Coordinator Joe Woods for their not-yet-open DBs coach job, but he went to the 49ers instead.
Torrian Gray spent the last two seasons with the Redskins after spending one season at Florida, and 10 seasons at Virginia Tech. The Redskins want someone else to work with their collection of mid-late rounds picks in their secondary.
