UPDATE: Joe Woods isn't coming to Washington
The #49ers are hiring Joe Woods, longtime DBs coach and most recently the #Broncos’ defensive coordinator, source says. He’ll be the passing game coordinator for DC Robert Saleh and HC Kyle Shanahan.

Gregg Williams was set to meet with the Redskins for a job that's not officially open, defensive coordinator. Greg Manusky is still in that position, but Washington has been meeting with several people over the last weeks to replace him.
Gregg Williams was reportedly going to be the New York Jets new DC, but reports said he was scheduled to meet with the Redskins. Adam Schefter reports that deal with the Jets is now being finalized, and Williams won't be coming back to Washington.
Jets finalizing deal with former Browns’ interim HC Gregg Williams to become their defensive coordinator, per source. Williams was the defensive coordinator the Jets were targeting no matter who their HC was; they got their man.

The Redskins are still interested in former Denver Broncos Defensive Coordinator Joe Woods. Mike Klis reports they are interested in him for the position of Defensive Backs Coach that Torrian Gray currently holds(but will reportedly be replaced).
Broncos DB coach Marcus Robertson drawing interest from Arizona, per sources. Broncos DB coach Greg Williams drawing interest from Carolina and Detriot. Broncos D-coordinator Joe Woods to interview with Washington, then decide between Arizona and Washington. #9sports

Klis also mentions a DB+ position, which could turn into the DC job if the Redskins are set on replacing Manusky and can’t find anyone else to take the job.
After interviewing in Arizona yesterday, former Broncos D-coordinator Joe Woods will likely visit Jax, Washington and possibly one other team before making decision midweek. All interested in him as DB or DB+. #9sports

Or Manusky could just stay after weeks of reports his team wants to replace him. And multiple potential replacements have been interviewed by your bosses.
"There is now no clear-cut replacement for Greg Manusky. And that could mean Manusky is staying put. In fact, at this point, it seems likely Manusky is staying put." https://t.co/Y6lsj9ksLq

#Redskins defensive coordinator options:

Todd Bowles: ❌
Vance Joseph: ❌
Steve Wilks: ❌
Gregg Williams: ❌
Joe Woods: ❓https://t.co/hPxOxz6gWQ
Former #Jets coach Todd Bowles met with the #Redskins earlier this week, sources say. No specific role was discussed, I’m told. It was more about touching base and seeing where things stood for both sides. As @RapSheet has noted, Bowles is in play in Tampa for Arians’ DC.

The #Redskins had conversations with Steve Wilks before he took the #Browns’ defensive coordinator job, sources say. Doesn’t sound like they were deep discussions but another indication Washington has been nosing around DC candidates.
