The Redskins scored their first touchdown of the 2018 regular season. On the first play of the 2nd quarter, Alex Smith hit Chris Thompson at the 9 yard line and he easily took it the endzone for the score. This is Thompson’s first game back since breaking his leg last December. Thompson already has 2 rushes for 27 yards, and 2 receptions for 18 yards and the TD. Chris Thompson is back and the Redskins offense has looked good so far.
Chris Thompson is so valuable. #Redskins really missed him last year after he got hurt. Great to have him back healthy and appropriate he gets the first Skins TD of the season pic.twitter.com/ah2BFyvev1

Wider angle of the Thompson TD. Skins ran the Dusty concept to the trips side, Reed ran a post on the back side, drawing attention of the corner and safety. Thompson beats LB on his whip route back outside. pic.twitter.com/UZbUC6pBTg
