Name: Chad Englehart

Title: Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

Experience: 9 years

Bio: Chad Englehart is actually one of the longest-tenured coaches on the Redskins staff, as 2018 will mark his ninth season in Washington. Englehart came to the team as an assistant strength and conditioning coach back in 2010, then got promoted to the head position prior to last year. Englehart is another of the Redskins’ coaches with a UFL connection, having coached with Jay Gruden when Gruden was the offensive coordinator of the Florida Tuskers. The UFL was his first professional football experience, as he had previously worked with a couple of sports performance centers and, prior to that, the University of New Orleans.

Fun Fact: Before getting his break in coaching, Englehart worked for six years as the night manager and personal trainer at the West St. Tammany YMCA in Covington, Louisiana, in the greater New Orleans area.
