Trey Quinn will be the second rookie at wide receiver for Washington. He was one of eight draft picks (counting supplemental pick CB Adonis Alexander) to make the team. The only one who didn’t, RB Derrius Guice, is on injured reserve. Eight of the 10 2017 picks also made the 53. The only two who didn’t, WR Robert Davis and CB Josh Holsey, are out with injuries. Doing the math, that’s 16 players, about 30 percent of the roster. Add in undrafted rookies Sims, CB Danny Johnson, and OL Casey Dunn and that’s 19 first-and second-year players, 36 percent of the 53.

Crowder is the most accomplished, with more than 2,200 receiving yards over three seasons. Doctson is the lone first-round pick out of the bunch.

Though unlikely to find a starting role with the Redskins any time soon, he could continue to carve out a bigger role for himself.
