What should your expectations be for a 33 year old future Hall of Fame RB that your team signed in late August? Most people thought Adrian Peterson would be a serviceable back in Jay Gruden's offense when he was signed.
Rushing Machine Never Breaks T-shirts!
Gruden highlighted him in the 3rd preseason game, and AD looked like he was still hungry. The Redskins made him their starter and we all waited until yesterday to see how he did with an offensive line that was finally healthy.

Adrian Peterson did not disappoint, and looked like his old self against his old team, the Cardinals. The Redskins were running the ball early and often and Arizona's defense didnt have any answers.
Peterson ended the day with this stat line:
26 rushes for 96 yards(3.7 ypc), 1 TD; 2 receptions 70 yards 1 Fumble
We'll take that from him all day!
96 yards on the ground.

And just because I forgot to tweet it, here's the Peterson fumble. Boot to flat, nobody accounts for him, takes it 50 yards down the sideline before fumbling while trying to turn it into a TD. pic.twitter.com/fdkEywEvBf
