Jay Gruden was asked about the game plan for the Patriots and the unofficial depth chart that was released yesterday. He gave another update on Josh Doctson, and ruled out D.J. Swearinger and Jamison Crowder vs the Patriots on Thursday.

"We'll decide on gameday. I've kind of got it in my mind what we're going to do but I don't want to etch it stone in case I change my mind"
Gruden was non-committal on snaps. In the past, has typically been a series. With Jets practices upcoming, and with likely backup OTs, might not push it with them... Not sure about the starting RB. https://t.co/SZ8TkiLIVB— John Keim (@john_keim) August 7, 2018

D.J. Swearinger/Jamison Crowder OUT vs Patriots:
Per Gruden, Jamison Crowder and DJ Swearinger will not play vs. Patriots due to minor injuries. #Redskins— Rich Tandler (@TandlerNBCS) August 7, 2018
Jamison Crowder and DJ Swearinger have sat out the last two days of practice. They won't play Thursday. They both have injury "tweaks" but no major injury. He didn't even specify what they tweaked.— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) August 7, 2018
Gruden doesn’t think Josh Doctson will go today; maybe some individuals. Said Doctson’s heel got stepped on during that end zone collision w Norman the other day, so it’s sore and putting on a shoe is an issue #Redskins— Kimberley A. Martin (@ByKimberleyA) August 7, 2018
: Jay Gruden hasn’t been paying attention to the (playful?) chatter between Terrelle Pryor and the #Jets and doesn’t expect any issues during their joint practices.
