The first two will be their top two backs, and coach Jay Gruden continues to praise Kelley, who coaches say looks quicker this camp. They'd also like to keep another third-down back behind Thompson in either Byron Marshall or Kapri Bibbs. That leaves Perine as possibly the odd man out. He started eight games last season and averaged 3.4 yards per carry; he had to learn to run with patience and with more power.
