SO MUCH IS HAPPENING IN THIS NEW REDSKINS TALK.
— NBC Sports Redskins (@NBCSRedskins) August 5, 2018
You got your Day 12 recap. You got a 1-on-1 with Derrius Guice. And you got yesterday's "Lost Pod."

Trent Williams participated in 1-on-1 work for the first time. Preston Smith had an OK rush vs. him; he had a real good rush vs. Nsekhe. Williams stopped his cousin, Pete Robertson, who started upfield then cut inside. Williams easily slid inside to win.

Linebacker Martrell Spaight worked at times with the starters (as both Mason Foster and Zach Brown came out). Spaight has been working with the No. 3 D and faces a tough battle for a roster spot.
— John Keim (@john_keim) August 5, 2018
Orlando Scandrick will get to prove during the season what he still has left; he's been working as the Redskins' starter opposite Josh Norman (and sliding inside to cover the slot in nickel). But Scandrick's fire remains evident. He's often heard jawing... https://t.co/ML9JhNyZgX

#Redskins injury update: Crowder and Swearinger didn't practice, took a day to rest the legs. Lauvao has an ankle sprain. Adonis Alexander and Martez Carter have hamstring issues. Kalis and Catalina left today due to heat problems.

Danny Johnson in perfect position on throw to sideline. One coach yelled “Danny ran the route for him”
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) August 5, 2018
Ty Nsekhe was slow to get up after one play. A few plays later Tyler Catalina stayed down. Catalina looked like it was heat related.
— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) August 5, 2018
Catalina was down on the ground for several minutes, on his knees leaning forward ... Bruce Allen came onto the field to check on Catalina before he was carted off #Redskins

Rob Kelley run left. Well contained. If he got yards, it's only a couple. #Redskins
Ryan Anderson just laid out Gardner the TE as he crossed the middle and caught the ball.
— Chad Ryan (@ChadwikoRCC) August 5, 2018
That's the biggest hit of training camp so far.
Sheesh.
Gardner pops straight back up though.

With some guys sitting out today, Tress Way has made his way on to the coverage team on a non-contact kickoff return drill. I love training camp lol

DJ Swearinger might be getting the veterans Day off today; starting safeties for 11on11 were Nicholson and Everett. #Redskins
— Chad Ryan (@ChadwikoRCC) August 5, 2018
Guard Kyle Kalis just left the field. Appears to be heat related. Cold towel placed on head/neck as he left.

Preston Smith got some good leverage against Trent Williams.
Jonathan Allen looks beastly against everyone he goes against.
Lauvao is doing well.
Just a few observations for folks

#Redskins RBs coach @rjordan28 let @ZachBrown_55 run a route against @DhaSickest. Let's just say it wasn't the longest route in football history.
