Countdown to Camp: Who Makes A Bigger Leap, Quinton Dunbar or Fabian Moreau?

Hogs Haven has a few questions that coaches will likely have to answer as training camp approaches.

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Washington Redskins Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Four-year pro Quinton Dunbar is a newly extended cornerback for the Washington Redskins who is expected to fill in the hole that Bashaud Breeland left behind. Dunbar’s development at cornerback has been very impressive in both the eyes of management and coaching staff which will almost certainly add more pressure to perform at a higher level in 2018. His career so far has been somewhat inconsistent, but this year will tell a lot regarding his growth as a cornerback.

Fabian Moreau will challenge Dunbar this training camp and pre-season as they will likely get plenty of looks at the number two cornerback position for Washington. Moreau is only in his second season in the pros, but overall has more of experience at cornerback than Quinton Dunbar has. Moreau has the height, weight, and speed to be an elite cornerback if his technique matches his physical traits. The question is, will they?

What do you think? Who will take over the number two cornerback position? Alternatively, will Fabian Moreau win out by the pre-seasons end?
