The Redskins made a few bottom of the roster moves following this weekend's rookie mini-camp. The team hosted 46 tryout players along with their 8 draft picks, and 14 UDFAs for three days of evaluation.
One of the team's moves was made for them when Iowa OL Sean Welsh left the team after being signed as a priority UDFA, and announced his retirement from football. WR Mikah Holder was also a college free agent signed by the Redskins after this year's draft. 77% of Hogs Haven readers said it was unlikely the former San Diego State WR would make the roster...they were right.
The Redskins signed center Casey Dunn(Auburn), wide receiver Darvin Kidsy(Texas Southern), and linebacker Vontae Diggs(UConn) today. All three were tryout players this weekend, and showed enough to get the last spots on the Redskins 90-man roster. The Redskins should have plenty of competition for depth at all 3 positions during the offseason.
