It was a short meeting between #Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Dez Bryant. After months speculation, Bryant was released and a marquee 29-year old free agent is on the market midway through April with several WR needy teams.

Dez Bryant has reportedly been released by the Dallas Cowboys, a move that was expected for a while. The WR and Jerry Jones had a brief meeting today that resulted in the end of Bryant's time in Dallas. He was due $16.5 million this year, and that wasn't in the Cowboys budget. They saved $8.5 million, and will eat $8 million in dead cap.
Dez walked out saying I'll see guys twice this year, I'm told. So that's that.

Where does Dez Bryant sign weeks after free agency started, and less than two weeks from the start of this year's draft? Dez reportedly wants to see the Cowboys twice a year which keeps him in the NFC East.
The Redskins have swooped in on free agents that become available late in the offseason(DeSean Jackson, Josh Norman). Bruce Allen also has an unhealthy obsession with signing former Cowboys players that Orlando Scandrick probably hasn't satisfied. Is Dez the one to scratch that itch?
Just pointing this out: Bryant may be “washed up” but with his numbers last year would have led the #Redskins in receptions, receiving yards, and tied in TD receptions.
