Redskins 2018 Draft - Best Player Available or Need?

New, comments
NCAA Football: CFP National Championship Game-Alabama vs Georgia Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

This morning, I posted an article about the biggest positions of need for the 2018 Redskins. In that article, I posted a poll asking “What Position are the Redskins lacking Most”? As of 7pm this evening, here are the results of that poll. You can link to the article here:

Defensive Line - 43%

Running Back - 29%

Guard/Center - 20%

Cornerback - 4%

Safety - 2%

Linebacker - 1%

Over 1,700 votes were cast, and over 735 people felt that defensive line was the biggest remaining need for the Redskins.

Now that you’ve had a look at what our fan base views as our biggest need, it’s time for a draft scenario to see how we match that need with some available players in the draft.
