It’s 1-year and $5M for Grant. After the physical issue in Baltimore, he’s going to prove it for a year https://t.co/J89bPTmkMI

Former Redskins WR Ryan Grant will reportedly sign a 1 year, $5 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts. He was originally going to sign with the Baltimore Ravens to a 4 year deal worth $29 million, but the Ravens got cold feet, and lusty eyes when Michael Crabtree was released by the Raiders. The Ravens failed Grant for an ankle injury and voided his contract.
Grant’s agent was not happy about this highly suspect medical determination and said Grant had been cleared by foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson. Grant took his next visit with the Colts and reportedly passed their physical. He was set to take other visits(Raiders), but it looks like the Colts decided to lock him up before he could.
This adds a 2019 6th round compensatory pick to the Redskins for Ryan Grant, and cancels out a 6th rounder from the Colts for Barkevious Mingo. https://t.co/PuoLu4kNde

Ryan Grant discussed the “failed” physical with the Ravens:
Ryan Grant on his injury/Baltimore situation: "If there was an issue with my ankle, I wouldn’t have been able to pass the physical with the Colts and Raiders."
