In the second half of the 2017 season, Junior Galette was the Redskins best pass rusher. Sure, Ryan Kerrigan may have garnered most of the attention and sacks, but it was Galette’s speed and relentless motor off the edge that kept opposing quarterbacks looking out the corner of their eye.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Redskins are in negotiations with pass rushing specialist Junior Galette, in an attempt to keep him in DC.
As teams try to hold onto their own players, two to watch: The #Redskins are in negotiations with OLB Junior Galette and the #Seahawks are in talks to bring back CB Byron Maxwell. Both of those talks are ongoing.

After losing Trent Murphy, Galette is a must-sign for the Skins. I’ll argue that heading into free agency, he should have been one of the teams top priorities.
Will a deal get done in the near future? Stay tuned...
