Numbers on new Panthers CB Bashaud Breeland: three years, $24 million, with $11 million in guarantees, sources say.

Well, it looks like the Redskins are back in positive territory on Compensatory picks, with the report from Ian Rappaport that Breeland will be joining the Carolina Panthers. This is an early report, with no contract details yet, but they are sure to surface quickly in the fast moving free agent frenzy.
Many fans had hoped to keep Breeland, especially once Kendall Fuller was traded to the Chiefs, but Jay Gruden has expressed confidence in 2017 draft pick Fabian Moreau to be able to step up and play opposite Josh Norman, who himself came from the Panthers to the Redskins just two seasons ago.
Good landing spot for him. I think Panthers staff will get him to play to potential. However, not sad to see him go. He was burned often in D.C. and made lots of mental errors https://t.co/KHNTPVDWp1

Looks like Breeland is gone. Skins fans weren't particularly high on him in general, but he was damn good this year. https://t.co/tj65cFDNIR

The #Panthers are getting a terrific No. 2 CB in Bashaud Breeland. He's physical, has ball skills and he can cover. Needs to clean up inconsistencies. Will grow up and mature on and off field. I'd bet on his skills.
