Former #Giants CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is expected to visit the #Redskins first, source said. That should be today, and the #Saints are next on his list.

The Washington Redskins will get the first visit from CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie today after his release by the Giants two days ago. DRC(6'2", 203lbs, 31yo) spent the last 4 years with the Giants, and has had some memorably painful plays against the Redskins during his time there.
Rodgers-Cromartie has said he's willing to play wherever the team that signs him wants. The Redskins traded away their slot CB Kendall Fuller in the Alex Smith trade, and are likely to lose 4-year starting CB Bashaud Breeland in free agency. The Redskins like their young DBs (Quinton Dunbar, Fabian Moreau, and Joshua Holsey), but will give DRC a look and see if they can sign him at the right price.
FWIW: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will visit the Redskins today as @RapSheet reported earlier. DRC played in the slot the last two years with NYG. Skins want a slot guy; Aaron Colvin one to watch once FA begins.
