Offseason On The Brink: Are You Game?

The Audible gang returns for our weekly sit, sip, and chat from Basement Podcast Studios. Our conversation tonight started off with a deep dive around Ken’s Monday Sixpack question about the FedEx Field gameday experience. As a group of former season-ticket holders, but still loyal team followers, we wonder if others will follow suit and if so, what exactly is at the root of fans starting to distance themselves from Landover on Sundays. Is it on the field, off the field, or perhaps even the field itself?

A few weeks removed from the Super Bowl, and a few weeks away from the draft the question now is what will be the Redskins’ next big move this offseason? Though the acquisition of Alex Smith was a huge piece, we all agree it’s far from the final one, so who else will the Redskins look to in order to bolster their new quarterback’s supporting cast?
