The Redskins ended Montae Nicholson's season today by placing him on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list. Nicholson and his girlfriend were arrested following a fight around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning. Nicholson was charged with assault and battery and drunk in public. Video that reportedly showed the fight was released by TMZ earlier today.

The Redskins made a statement after the arrest was reported that they would be gathering more information on the incident. Head Coach Jay Gruden said that Nicholson did not practice today, and he would not be traveling with the team for their game against the Titans in Tennessee on Saturday.

Today's move means Nicholson is done for the year, and the Redskins and the NFL will have time to decide what punishment, if any, Nicholson will receive for this incident. The Redskins have added DBs Harlan Miller and Jeremy Reaves over the past two days.
