Do we all realize how nuts is it to have no touchbacks?
I didn't fully appreciate the job Payne did on this Kerrigan sack on Sunday. The initial hands flash at the guard before dropping causes the RG to lunge at him and miss. Payne then occupies the RB and the RT on top of the RG, leaving Kerrigan free to sack the QB #Redskins pic.twitter.com/RjzfAkVmEP— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) December 19, 2018
I get that Kessler is a QB and the thought is they might be more able to punch the ball out from a QB, but so many extra yards given up... pic.twitter.com/LyDoO3DIjf— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) December 18, 2018
Montae was drunk and fighting at 2 a.m. on a Tuesday morning, in a game week. Guessing we're not gonna see him in a jersey for a while.— Burgundy Blog (@BurgundyBlog) December 18, 2018
Gruden to @JPFinlayNBCS on #RedskinsTalk: "If we knew Colt was gonna get hurt for three or four games, or what have you, then obviously I would've gone with a more athletic-type guy, like Josh, who knows our system a little bit better. Hindsight's 20/20."— Burgundy Blog (@BurgundyBlog) December 18, 2018
Man, that Louis Riddick idea is intriguing, he always seems perceptive towards the Redskins when discussing them on ESPN. If Bruce were to be let go or moved out of football operations, that’s who I want.— Redskins Realm (@SkinsRealm) December 18, 2018
My solution to the much-hated fumble touchback rule is an "offensive touchback." If the offense fumbles the ball out the back of the end zone, they get the ball next on the opposing 20. But they keep possession, just as they would with any out of bounds fumble.— Aaron Schatz (@FO_ASchatz) December 18, 2018
Discussed with @TomPelissero on @nflnetwork earlier whether the #Rams would bring in a veteran behind Todd Gurley and, sure enough, they’re signing RB C.J. Anderson, source says. Anderson was available after a brief stint in Oakland. Gurley is dealing with knee inflammation.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) December 18, 2018
