The Daily Twitter will be posted at the beginning of every day (at midnight in Washington, DC). The goal is to give readers a handy spot to check the Redskins beat writers & bloggers, and national sports journalists to keep up on the latest news about the Redskins, the NFL, and sports in general.

I could see the Redskins claiming Kareem Hunt, I mean they are already in hot water over the Reuben Foster thing

Imagine what would happen if the Redskins signed Kareem Hunt.. pic.twitter.com/zz5DyWAG6M

I've seen a fair few #Redskins fans annoyed about the "jokes" or "memes" connecting the Skins to Kareem Hunt now.
— Chad Ryan (@ChadwikoRCC) December 1, 2018
The organisation has no one to blame but themselves on this one.
We as fans just have to accept we're going to carry that label for a while.
It sucks.
Neither the NFL, nor the #Chiefs, had seen the video before it was published today. I’m told the league made several attempts to obtain it. The hotel said it was corporate policy to only turn it over to law enforcement. Cleveland PD would not provide it to the league.

When ppl are commending the Chiefs all of a sudden for “doing the right thing” .... only because TMZ was able to show the world the video... pic.twitter.com/GNCSQDsRHp
— Kimberley A. Martin (@ByKimberleyA) December 1, 2018
The more I read the statement, the more I get the impression they're saying they cut him because he lied, not necessarily because of what he did. The statement doesn't even address the assault directly at all. So they just took his word for it for almost a year?!

A statement from soon-to-be former #Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt: “I want to apologize for my actions. I deeply regret what I did. I hope to move on from this.”

I say this all the time. Folks don’t care about domestic violence unless it’s on video.
— Torrey Smith (@TorreySmithWR) November 30, 2018
Save your applause for the Chiefs and NFL. Their indignation for Kareem Hunt’ brutal altercation with of a woman came nine months too late https://t.co/UbAyHr7npu via @usatoday
— Mike Jones (@ByMikeJones) December 1, 2018
And why didn’t @CLEpolice arrest Hunt? Unlike the NFL, they’ve had the video this whole time. They did arrest (cite and release) this guy that night: https://t.co/0y9dryGA8K

I'm angry watching the Doug Williams press conf. from earlier. Every fan who's followed Doug's career knows that yesterday's comments were not ill-intentioned. Doesn't matter, I get it. But he should've never been put in that position. Total crap per usual from the top. #Redskins
— Kevin Sheehan (@kevinsheehanDC) December 1, 2018
If I was the #Redskins, the only executives that would be allowed to speak would be HC Jay Gruden, SVP of Football Ops, Eric Schaffer, Dir. of College Personnel & fast rising exec, Kyle Smith & COO Brian Lafemina. Hopefully last 2 stay here.
— Chris Russell (@Russellmania621) November 30, 2018
That's it. Nobody else. Carry on.
Man, a LOT happened in the NFL while I was asleep last night...
— Chad Ryan (@ChadwikoRCC) November 30, 2018
Lost in the anguish of the Cowboys win last night is that Colt McCoy on 3 days preparation led the #Redskins to twice as many points as Drew Brees led the Saints to with a full week to prepare. #HTTR

That was an absolute helmet launch by Jaylon Smith. He’d have been ejected for that at Notre Dame.
