Jay Gruden gave some injury and lineup updates after today's practice. He ruled out RB Chris Thompson(ribs) and LT Trent Williams(thumb). He also listed WR Jamison Crowder(ankle), CB Quinton Dunbar(shin), and Morgan Moses(knee) as questionable vs the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Crowder returned to practice this week after missing the last four games with an ankle sprain. His return to the field will be big after the Redskins placed Paul Richardson Jr. on IR to have shoulder surgery.
Morgan Moses sprained his MCL last week and has been wearing a big brace on his knee. Gruden said he did more today, and hopes he will be able to go on Sunday. If he can't play, rookie Geron Christian Sr. will play right tackle.
Quinton Dunbar has not practiced all week and looks like a longshot to play this week. Gruden said UDFA rookie CB Danny Johnson is ahead of 7th round rookie CB Greg Stroman right now and will likely get more playing time again this week.
The Redskins will likely be starting Jonathan Cooper at left guard this week with Tony Bergstrom at right guard. Cooper was signed this week, along with two other OL, after the team placed Brandon Scherff(pec) and Shawn Lauvao(ACL) on IR.
