Redskins get smoked at home by the Falcons 38-14

That was not pretty

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Washington Redskins Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Redskins came into today’s game at 5-2 and in first place in the NFC East. Only one of those things will change today as the Redskins division lead got a little slimmer. The Redskins were completely dominated in all three phases of the game(offense, defense, officiating). Washington is not a team built to come back from a deficit and are 0-3 in games they have been trailing the other team this year.

The Redskins offensive line lost both their starting guards today. They also lost RT Morgan Moses to a knee injury, but he was able to return to the game. Quinton Dunbar left the game twice due to a leg injury, but was able to force the Redskins only turnover.

The Redskins fall to 5-3 and travel next week to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
