Jay Gruden spoke to reporters in a conference call the day after a huge Thanksgiving day loss to the Cowboys. Trent Williams left the stadium in an ambulance last night. He had X-rays done, but they came back negative.
Matt Ioannidis left the game with a calf bruise and he's day to day. He also said Morgan Moses is playing on a bad Achilles. Adrian Peterson aggravated his shoulder, and Quinton Dunbar's nerve issue in his leg got worse as the game went on. Ian Rapoport also reports Cassanova McKinzy tore his pec, this will end his season.
The Redskins will take the weekend off and then return Monday to prepare for next week's MNF game against the Eagles.

Missed helmet to helmet call on Jordan Reed:
Jordan Reed has every right to be furious, clear hit to the helmet and it goes uncalled. Has to be frustrating, especially for a guy with a history of concussions. pic.twitter.com/v6EBmS2qNW

Gruden says the referees thought the Reed play wasn’t helmet to helmet on the field. Clearly they missed it.
— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) November 23, 2018
Gruden says Reed came out of the game okay despite that hit.

Chris Thompson:

Adrian Peterson:
Gruden said Peterson wasn’t “quite himself” when running the ball, added they have to create better holes for him.
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) November 23, 2018

Winning the division:
Jay Gruden says he is certain he has the players to win the division. His biggest hopes for this lie in the eventual returns of Chris Thompson and Jamison Crowder - also in McCoy getting more reps with the first team offense.
