The Redskins and Cowboys have released their final injury reports before tomorrow's game on Thanksgiving. It's a short week, and we've got limited updates from Jay Gruden about injuries.
The Redskins have only ruled out one player this week, RB Chris Thompson. He is still dealing with a rib injury, but has been doing better this week. He has a good chance to return to the field in 12 days when the Redskins play the Eagles on Monday Night Football December 3rd.
Running back Samaje Perine missed last week with a calf injury he suffered in practice. He was limited in the Redskins limited practices, and he's questionable. Byron Marshall was active for the first time this season last week.
Trent Williams started his return to the field last Friday when he made a surprise appearance at practice. He was fitted with a cast, but still couldn't grip with his injured thumb. He is listed as questionable, and will be pushing to return to the field this week.
Right guard Tony Bergstrom has a knee injury and has been limited all week. He is listed as questionable, but is expected to play tomorrow.
Your weekly Jamison Crowder injury update:
He hasn't practiced all week, is listed as questionable, and probably isn't returning. Trey Quinn will have to do.
There is only one player on defense listed as questionable this week, CB Quinton Dunbar. He is still having issues running full speed, and admitted he tried to come back too soon a few weeks ago. It sounds like he'll be missing another game.
The Cowboys have 5 players ruled out for tomorrow's game. LB Sean Lee(hamstring), DL David Irving(ankle), WR Tavon Austin(groin), Geoff Swaim(wrist), and C Adam Redmond(concussion) will all miss Thanksgiving.
