Redskins 2019 Free Agents - Who Should the Team Re-Sign?

New, comments
NFL: Houston Texans at Washington Redskins Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

There has been a lot of recent discussion around the Redskins 2019 free agents; mainly on who should be re-signed (and at what price), and who we should let walk.

Below is a list of the Redskins notable unrestricted and restricted free agents in 2019, and their age at the start of next season.

Unrestricted Free Agents:

HaHa Clinton-Dix (26) FS 6’1” 208

Preston Smith (26) EDGE 6’5” 265

Jamison Crowder (26) WR 5’9” 175

Jonathan Cooper (29) OG 6’2” 310

Adrian Peterson (34) RB 6’1” 222

Ty Nsekhe (34) OT 6’8” 325

Arie Kouandjio (27) OG 6’5” 315

Restricted Free Agents:

Maurice Harris (27) WR 6’3” 200

Byron Marshall (25) RB 5’9” 225

Rob Kelley (26) RB 6’0” 229

This team also has some big holes to fill on both sides of the football heading into the offseason. The draft will certainly be the main form of acquiring young talent, but the Redskins will also need to bring in a few key free agents (especially if they do not re-sign some of their own) to help the process.

Below are the Redskins position of need heading into the 2019 offseason.

Top positions of need heading into 2019:

Wide Receiver

Inside Linebacker

Quarterback (this one could move up the list)

Secondary positions of need heading into 2019:

Interior Offensive Line

Tight End
