The Redskins won last week by beating the Buccaneers 16-3 in Tampa Bay. The good win keeps them in 1st place in the NFC East at 6-3, and they have a 2 game lead thanks to the Cowboys win over the Eagles Sunday night.

Quinton Dunbar is questionable again this week with a shin/nerve injury. Dunbar hasn'tpracticed all week and can'trun full speed. Danny Johnson was playing for him last week, but Greg Stroman came in to make a big interception.

Jamison Crowder has been ruled out for the last five weeks, and will make it 6 games in a row. Maurice Harris will likely get the start opposite Josh Doctson this week with Richardson out. Trey Quinn made his return from IR this week, and will get some work in the slot and on punt returns. Michael Floyd and Brian Quick return to back/inactive roles.

Adrian Peterson is still dealing with shoulder and knee injuries, but is feeling much better this week. Chris Thompson has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game, his 3rd straight after suffering a new rib injury three weeks ago. Kapri Bibbs and Byron Marshall are active this week after Marshalls return from IR. Samaje Perine hurt his calf in practice on Thursday and won't play vs the Texans.

LT Trent Williams is still recovering from thumb surgery, but returned to practice on Friday. He has been fitted with a cast to potentially let him play this week. Ty Nsekhe steps in for him at LT if Trent can't play, but will go back to swing tackle if Williams is starting. Morgan Moses now has a braces on his knee and elbow, but will play.

Geron Christian Sr. was placed on IR this week with a torn MCL making newly signed Austin Howard next in line for backup swing tackle. Jonathan Cooper impressed coaches last week, and will line up at LG again.

The Redskins are 3 point underdogs against the Texans going into Sunday’s home game.
