Chris Thompson should not be allowed to play the New Orleans Saints anymore. Last year he broke his leg and missed the rest of the season. This year he injured his ribs on a failed two point conversion, and also hurt his knee in the blowout loss on Monday Night Football.
Thompson was limited in practice all week and officially listed as questionable for today's game. Jay Gruden said he would be a game-time decision, but it looks like that decision has already been made.
Redskins’ RB Chris Thompson, listed as questionable for Sunday due to rib and knee injuries, is not expected to play vs. Cowboys, per source.

The Redskins offense continues to be the most banged up part of the team. WR Jamison Crowder (ankle) will reportedly miss a few weeks, and has already been ruled out for today. Paul Richardson Jr. is doubtful, and will likely miss today's game unless he can play through the pain again. He had his knee evaluated this week, and has been dealing with a shoulder injury all year.
Adrian Peterson is expected to play today. The 33-year old RB has been the heart of the offense this year, and has been playing injured the last few weeks. He said he feels better this week as he deals with knee and shoulder injuries. Peterson will be joined by Kapri Bibbs and Samaje Perine in the backfield today.
