NFL: Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The Redskins are coming off a needed win over the Carolina Panthers after a brutal loss on Monday Night Football to the New Orleans Saints. Washington has a loose grip on 1st place in the division. They need wins this week vs the Cowboys, and next week vs the Giants to show they are more than the hot and cold team they've been so far this season.

The Redskins are hoping to get Shawn Lauvao back this week. He has missed the last 3 games with a calf injury. Tony Bergstrom started at center and Chase Roullier moved to LG. Roullier will move back to center if Lauvao plays against Dallas. Brandon Scherff, Trent Williams, and Morgan Moses are all dealing with knee injuries. Scherff had an MCL aggravation last week, but finished the game.

Jamison Crowder has already been ruled out with an ankle sprain and could reportedly miss several weeks. He didn't play last week and Maurice Harris took over the slot. Harris will likely stay in that role this week.

Paul Richardson Jr.(shoulder/knee) is listed as doubtful and hasn't practiced all week. His knee swelled up after the Saints game, but he was able to play last week. He has also been dealing with a shoulder injury all season. He got a checkup on his knee this week. He is likely out vs the Cowboys.

Michael Floyd and Brian Quick have been practicing for his spot this week, and Gruden said Mo Harris could move outside in base. Josh Doctson(heel) has practiced fully all week and should be good to go Sunday.

Adrian Peterson is dealing with shoulder and knee injuries. He said he feels much better this week after gutting it out last week. Chris Thompson is still recovering from rib and knee injuries and has been limited in practice all week. Both RBs are listed as questionable, but Gruden said CT would be a game-time decision. If he misses another game, Kapri Bibbs will have a similar role this week, and Samaje Perine will be active as the 3rd back again.

The odds have dropped from the Redskins being 3 point home favorites, to Washington -1.
