Jamison Crowder missed last week with an ankle injury he suffered on Monday Night Football against the Saints. Gruden said he was iffy to play this week for the Cowboys. Ian Rapoport is reporting Crowder will likely miss a few weeks with the sprained ankle, but the MRI results show the injury shouldn't be long-term. Crowder was seen in a boot today, using a medical scooter to get around the locker room.

Ths Redskins announced that they were signing WR Jehu Chesson back to the main roster from the practice squad. He takes the spot opened up by the release of veteran DE Ziggy Hood on Tuesday. Gruden said the team would fill the spot depending on the needs of the team, and the Redskins are hurting at wide receiver right now.

Along with Crowder, Washington is also dealing with Josh Doctdon's heel injury and Paul Richardson Jr.'s shoulder/knee injuries. PR had his knee evaluated again by doctors as he continues to deal with the pain. He was able to play last week, but has been held out of practice this week.

Maurice Harris will play the slot role while Crowder is out. He could also be used outside if Richardson misses time. The team still has Michael Floyd and Brian Quick available to play when needed.
