Jay Gruden gave some injury updates and previewed this week's game against the Dallass Cowboys in his Monday presser. He discussed similarities between the Panthers and Cowboys, stopping the Cowboys run game, and handling the defense's stunts the Redskins typically struggle against.

Injury updates:
Redskins RB Chris Thompson is considered day to day with his rib/knee issue. Not sure yet what his workload will be early in the week. G Shawn Lauvao (calf) also is day to day
