The Redskins have officizlly re-signed another pending free agent, inking starting ILB Mason Foster to a new contract. Foster broke the news himself on twitter, and it was later confirmed by the Redskins. Foster told 106.7's Grant and Danny that his new deal is for two years.
Foster has been with the team for the last 3 seasons and has earned his spot on the roster. He started last season next to another potential free age t Zach Brown before being lost for the season with a shoulder injury that he had been playing through.
The Redskins also hope to re-sign Brown, but Jay Gruden indicated he might want to test free agency.
