As we head into week number two of Offseason On The Brink, The Audible boys took it on the road, making a triumphant return, live on location from The Knights of Columbus in Bethesda. While it’s nearly as far away as possible from the next Redskins’ contest, there was still plenty to discuss in the football world and the D.C. sports sphere, as we celebrated the successes of Stefon Diggs as one of our own. After breaking down the week that was in the divisional round of the playoffs, we took some time to look ahead to the NFC and AFC conference finals with a berth to the Super Bowl on the line.
Bringing things back closer to home, we turned to our loyal Facebook live followers (and the assembled Knights and friends of Knights) to their thoughts on Redskins’ priorities in free agency, both internally and externally, in addition to areas Washington ought to address in the upcoming draft. We also learned of a shared, deep sense of affection for the man in the middle on the offensive line, Spencer Long.
Inevitably the conversation turned to the two-year long conversation over the quarterback position and Kirk Cousins’ fate, and what we’ll finally do after the discussion is resolved.
Many thanks to everyone who participated in the conversation and for the Knights of Columbus for their hospitality in letting us be apart of a fun and exciting evening!
