NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

It’s playoff Saturday and we get the pleasure of watching the Eagles season end this afternoon. The Eagles were rolling this season, going 10-2 before losing their star QB Carson Wentz during a victory over the Rams. Wentz’s ACL injury sucked the life out of the fan base and their Super Bowl dreams, but the Eagles were still able to win 2 more games and lock up the #1 seed in the NFC. Backup QB Nick Foles isn’t inspiring(or intimidating) anyone, and the Eagles are the underdogs hosting the #6 seed Atlanta Falcons, which is a first in NFL history.

The Falcons are looking to get back to the Super Bowl after suffering the worst meltdown in the history of the Big Game last year against the Patriots. Atlanta went 10-6 this year, earning them the final playoff spot in a strong NFC conference. The Falcons went to LA last week and took care of business against the high-scoring Rams, holding them to 13 points.

The New England Patriots have the #1 seed in the AFC(shocking) and will host a Tennessee Titans team that went 9-7 this season. The Patriots are looking for another ring from Tom Brady and Bill Belichick before the whole thing blows up. The Titans are coming off a thrilling come from behind victory over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium last week. They will need to rely on their defense to stop Brady and Gronkowski, and their run game to keep it close. The Patriots are a ridiculous 14 point favorite at home, but Marcus Mariota will try to keep it close tonight.
