Y'all got a minute? Well I do. Broken back, torn acl in back to back college years. Agents stopped calling me, wouldn't return my calls but one man took a shot on me. Got to the league and shoulder surgery right away. Slim to none chance for me to make it at all in this league and today I've signed my second contract. God is so good to me and I don't even know why. Thank you God, thank you Redskins for believing in me and special thanks to my agent @jchay75 for taking a chance on me.

The Redskins announced a contract extension for RB Chris Thompson that will reportedly keep him on the team through 2019. Thompson was a restricted free agent this offseason, and the Redskins tendered him at the 2nd Round level. Thompson signed the tender in April, and was scheduled to make $2.746 million this season, and become an unrestricted free agent next year.
Now Jay Gruden has on of his facorite offensive locked up for 3 years. Thompson has gotten plenty of action as the Redskins 3rd down back, and in the pasding game. Last year he had 356 yards rushing with 3 Tds, and 349 yards receiving with 2 more TDs.
