The Redskins had practice today and released their final injury report before flying to Missouri to play the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Six Redskins starters are listed as questionable. TE Jordan Reed, RB Rob Kelley, and ILB Mason Foster missed last week with injuries. WR Jamison Crowder and S D.J. Swearinger tweaked their hamstrings in practice, and their status is “up in the air” per Head Coach Jay Gruden. Swearinger didn’t practice today, while Crowder did some work. ILB Will Compton wasn’t on yesterday’s injury report, but is now listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

In other Redskins news, Kirk Cousins returned to practice. His wife Julie gave birth to a 9lb 6 oz boy named Cooper. Brandon Scherff also became a first-time father yesterday, leaving after team meetings to join his wife at the hospital. Congrats to both families!

Injury updates:

D.J. Swearinger:

"He watched today. It’s getting there. We’ll know more tomorrow. We just wanted to rest him today.”

Jamison Crowder:

Jonathan Allen:

Mason Foster:

"He’s getting his strength back, which is good. He’s still got a little bit of an issue there, but again, he’s the same. All those guys really, I think they’re going to be closely monitored. Get treatment today again, get treatment in the morning, have our practice, our walkthrough, get on the plane, get treatment again, get treatment Monday morning and then we’ll see where they’re at. Lots of treatment.”

Kirk Cousins:

Cooper Cousins:

Jordan Reed/Rob Kelley:

"Well, they look better because we’re running and we’re not hitting. I think it’s going to be a pain tolerance type thing. See how they handle it. Tomorrow we’ll try to put them through some more running, more of a little bit of a workout, see how they’re feeling. And then we’ll make the decision come Monday morning.”

Brandon Scherff:

Jamison Crowder:

"Crowder did a little bit today. He is still up in the air.”

Returning punts:

“Yeah, we want him back there. I guaranteed he wouldn’t drop another one, remember?”
