The Washington Redskins(2-1) will face the Kansas City Chiefs(3-0) at Arrowhead Stadium for this week’s Monday Night Football game. The Chiefs are undefeated and have looked good this year, especially on offense. The Redskins are coming off a primetime win against the Oakland Raiders. The Redskins looked good(damn good) last week and hope to carry that momentum to Missouri.
The Redskins were missing 3 starters that they hope to get back this week. TE Jordan Reed(shoulder/sternum), RB Rob Kelley(ribs), and ILB Mason Foster(shoulder) have been limited this week, but have two more days to heal up before Monday’s game. Three more starters were limited in yesterday’s practice, WR Jamison Crowder(hamstring), S D.J. Swearinger(hamstring), and DE Jonathan Allen(shoulder). The Redskins also lost their backup offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe for 3-6 weeks after he got surgery for a core muscle injury suffered last week.
Kirk Cousins earned NFC Offensive player of the week for his outstanding performance against the Raiders, and looks to continue that trend this week against an opportunistic Chiefs defense. The Redskins defense looked great last week, and they punched the Raiders in the mouth early and often. It was a thing of beauty to watch, and they will need to show out again against a talented Chiefs offense. Limit the big plays, tackle well, contain Alex Smith, stop the run. Sounds simple enough. The Chiefs are favored by 7 at home, but this a very winnable game for the Redskins.

Even with a healthy Rob Kelley, don't expect Chris Thompson's role to change vs. Chiefs. https://t.co/snD7gQfzXV pic.twitter.com/gJxRZ4oXIZ
