The Oakland Raiders(2-0) are visiting the Washington Redskins(1-1) for this week’s Sunday Night Football game. The Raiders are undefeated and have looked go this year, especially on offense. The Redskins are coming off a win on the West Coast vs Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams. Washington’s defense is improved from last year, and will be tested early and often by Derek Carr.
The Redskins are dealing with multiple injuries on both sides of the ball, and have 5 players listed as questionable this week. On offense, TE Jordan Reed(shoulder/sternum) and RB Rob Kelley(ribs) were limited this week in practice. Both will push to play this week if they are cleared. On defense, ILB Mason Foster(shoulder), CB Josh Norman(shoulder), and S Montae Nicholson(shoulder) are also questionable, but will attempt to play.
Kirk Cousins and the Redskins offense will attempt to put a consistent game together for the first time this year. The offense has flashed, and the running game worked very well against the Rams last week. Cousins and his new receivers will need to connect all game to duel with Carr and the Raiders. The Redskins are 3 point underdogs at home this week, but this is a winnable game.
