Spencer Long had a knee scope on Tuesday and is expected to miss 2 weeks. Head Coach Jay Gruden mentioned in today's presser that they might look to bring another center in for a look. Rookie Chase Roullier is the presumed backup going into the season, and the team also has Ronald Patrick on the roster.
Tonight, the team announced a trade that will send CB Dashaun Phillips to the Pittsburgh Steelers for center Lucas Crowley. Crowley (6'3", 290 lbs) was an undrafted free agent from North Carolina who originally signed with the Arizona Cardinals in May.
