To make room for Kenny Hilliard, #Redskins waived RB Keith Marshall with an injury designation. Can be put on IR if he clears waivers.

The Redskins lost one RB to injury this week when Keith Marshall tore his patellar tendon on Saturday. Marshall will have surgery tomorrow, and the team has waived him with an injury designation. The Redskins worked out several RBs today, including former Miami Hurricanes back Joe Yearby.
Jay Gruden announced today before practice that the Redskins were signing former Texans RB Kenny Hilliard after a workout today. Hilliard, who is the cousin of Redskins WR coach Ike Hilliard, played football at LSU. He was drafted in the 7th round by the Houston Texans in 2015. He spent most of his time in the NFL on the Texans practice squad.
