The Redskins held tryouts for defensive backs today looking to replace DB Lou Young III who pulled his groin on Thrusday at camp. Jay Gruden mentioned that someone was being signed at his daily presser, but didn’t mention a name. Jeremiah McKinnon was spotted at practice wearing #38, and the Redskins have made the signing official. McKinnon(5’11”, 190 lbs) played at Florida International, and has spent time with the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans in the NFL. In college he appeared in 34 games, with 101 tackles, 19 passes defensed, 3 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries.
