Elite Athletic Program is helping Redskins players improve their game

Martino Savage has been running the Elite Athletic Program for five years, and trains everyone from high school students to NFL players. Many of Savage’s high school students have gone on to receive scholarships from colleges like UVA, Nebraska, UNC/Maryland, Ohio State, Delaware, West Point, and more.

The “Savage Program” is based in Ashburn, Virginia, but trains all over the northern Virginia area, and has seen a lot of former and current Washington Redskins on the training grounds. This offseason you’ve probably seen the videos of Niles Paul, Will Compton, Maurice Harris, Chris Thompson, Anthony Lanier, Su’a Cravens, Martrell Spaight, Junior Galette and others working to improve their game.

Redskins training camp starts tomorrow in Richmond, Virginia, but many Redskins players have been training year-round to prepare for the season. Junior Galette is featured heavily in Savage’s videos, and is making his return from a second season lost to a torn Achilles tendon.
