Offseason On the Brink: All Hail Doug!

There’s a new Tripod in town! The Audible talks NFC East and Redskins front office structure on this week’s episode of Offseason On the Brink.

This week, we decided to just cold-call Chris Hess to get his impromptu thoughts on Doug Williams. It wasn’t Hating with H8 until Bruce Allen’s name came up.

Regarding the NFC East, nobody has much faith in the Philadelphia Eagles, but for some reason everyone fears Eli Manning (like, a lot). Which receiver do you fear worse: Alshon Jeffery or Brandon Marshall? We kept this week’s discourse to the front office changes and the NFC East—except for a brief intro to the idea of “Disruptive Radius” (patent pending!). Which Redskins defender do you think has the largest Disruptive Radius? I basically made the argument that with Su’a Cravens sitting a bit farther away from the line of scrimmage, his ability to disrupt plays grows exponentially just based on his speed and quickness. Zach Brown probably ranks up there in terms of Disruptive Radius rankings.

On Facebook Live, we gave away a NIMA football helmet speaker to Joe, who peppered us with comments and questions throughout the bit. Despite Joe’s prowess, I think we really made a mistake by not going with Pam for the grand prize winner. Pam, if you come back to our show next week, I will figure out a prize to get to you! (I blame Tim and Kevin for not realizing you have to go with the girl in the case of a tie or close call.)

Once again, thanks to NIMA for providing that awesome prize. In total, we awarded three NIMA speaker helmets to three great Redskins fans, and we encourage anyone that didn’t win but wanted a speaker to visit NIMA’s website and pick one up ahead of Father’s Day!
