The Redskins have not had a general manager(in official title) since Scot McCloughan was fired on March 9th. Team President, and former GM Bruce Allen talked about the Redskins restructuring their front office after this year’s NFL Draft, and there were reports that the team would not even name an official GM. Multiple names, internal and external have been mentioned as possibilities to replace McCloughan including Senior Personnel Executive Doug Williams, Vice President of Football Administration Eric Schaffer, Director of Pro Personnel Alex Santos, and Director of College Scouting Scott Campbell; and outside candidates Mark Dominik and Bill Kuharich.

Eric Shaffer will be assuming more responsibility and Doug Williams has been named the Senior VP of player development. No word on the GM role...yet.
