Mark Tyler's Redskins Round 2 Big Board

Mark Tyler gives his big board for the Redskins in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

My first round Big Board played out absolutely perfect for the Redskins on Thursday night, as my top prospect, Alabama's Jonathan Allen, fell to us at pick 17.  It was a dream scenario that came true, and everyone in Redskins Nation can rejoice.

Moving into round 2, there were two players still left on my first round Big Board - defensive tackle Malik McDowell, and running back Dalvin Cook. You would think the draft selection of Allen and our free agent signings at defensive tackle would eliminate McDowell, but in my opinion, he's too talented a prospect to pass up if he's there at pick 49.

Here is my Big Board for the Redskins in round 2. Again, this is based on my value vs. needs philosophy.

Dalvin Cook RB  Florida St.
